If you've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, or know someone who has, one of the first tests the oncologist orders will evaluate the amount of HER2 in the tumor biopsy. Overexpression of HER2 has been associated with more aggressive forms of breast cancer.1

Assessing a patient's HER2 status also helps oncologists and patients determine if a targeted therapy such as trastuzumab is right for the patient.

The HERmark Assay is designed to identify patients who are positive for HER2 overexpression.
